Liz Chacko

Liz Chacko is an investment and partnerships professional across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. She brings over 20 years of experience in SME development, impact finance, and financial sector reform. Liz has partnered with governments and impact investors across Africa and Asia, advised on entrepreneurial ecosystems, and worked in institutional asset management. Most recently she was a Grant Manager on USAID’s Development Innovation Ventures fund where she sourced, evaluated, and managed high-impact, scalable solutions across many sectors globally. Previously she worked at the World Bank for five years on projects that increased access to finance for small and medium enterprises and developed the regulatory framework for financial markets in Africa. Liz has also worked with impact investment funds supporting the strategy, operations, and monitoring and evaluation functions of their portfolio companies. She began her career in financial services. Liz earned her MBA and Master of Science in Foreign Service at Georgetown University and her Bachelor of Science at NYU's Stern School of Business.
